I am very pleased to lead the Torino Social Impact Community of Practice on Gender Equality.
In the final meeting of the year, we analyzed the recent Guidelines on Inclusive Communication from UNI, the Italian Standards Agency, and then immersed ourselves in an interactive experience through one of the digital applied games on gender equality developed by drimlab in collaboration with Redrim and the Fiordaliso social cooperative, part of the Cuneo anti-violence network.
We addressed the issue of gender language and the path to becoming aware of its importance.
The game then allowed all participants, women and men, to reflect, especially on the stereotypes and prejudices in which we are often unconsciously immersed.
A special thanks to drimlab and Redrim, who allowed us to experiment with this method of discussion within the community of practice, which will continue next year and will also continue to gather input from organizations in the Torino Social Impact ecosystem.
