I am a rights activist, committed to social inclusion and gender equality projects, with
extensive institutional experience. A former regional councilor, I have worked to improve
access to civil rights and promote equality in Piedmont, focusing in particular on the fight
against gender-based violence and supporting women and migrants.
I am part of the Digital Communities and Territories research group at the University's
Department of Computer Science.
I felt the need to share how I am trying to put into practice the goal of reducing inequalities,
particularly the gender gap, thanks primarily to technology, by sharing and engaging with
those interested in this journey.
And here I am with a new website that looks to the future.

The World of
Artificial
Intelligence
My 1991 thesis, titled “Algorithms for Truth-Maintaining Systems,” was on artificial intelligence. It was the era of expert systems, and I was already fascinated by this field.
General attention waned in the following decades, only to become “the topic” in recent years, with unimaginable progress.
The goal of gender equality has always been central to my interests, but it hasn’t made as much progress as artificial intelligence, despite becoming “more popular” than at the beginning of my career.
Now why not join forces and work to ensure that artificial intelligence helps bridge gaps,
starting with gender?
Why I Believe
in What I Do
I deeply believe in the value of what I do, as my desire is to generate a real and positive impact on people’s lives and communities. I am driven by the conviction that inclusion and equality are not just ideals, but concrete tools for building a more equal and just society. I hope that every project and every initiative I undertake is a step toward this goal, and this is the motivation that drives me every day to give my best.
I felt the usefulness of my commitment by personally knowing women who were able to take advantage of the support measures provided by the regional law that I promoted to combat gender violence, as well as more recently as a tutor of the girls who attended one of the three editions of the AIxGirls project, to give two very concrete examples.
