I graduated in Computer Science from the University of Turin with a thesis on Artificial Intelligence. I earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Telecommunications from the Polytechnic University of Turin.
I am a founding member and board member of the UN Women Italy national committee.
I have many years of experience in IT, industrial automation, and telecommunications.
I have extensive experience as a public administrator: I served as a district councilor and two terms as a city councilor in Turin, one term as a regional councilor, and one term as a regional councilor for Piedmont with responsibilities for equal opportunities, civil rights, the right to university education, youth policies, immigration, international cooperation, and consumer protection from 2014 to 2019.
From 2000 to 2005, I was a member of the board of directors of CSI Piemonte, which provides ICT services to public administration.

Since 2020, I have been a research fellow at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Turin, focusing on social inclusion and participation with digital tools, particularly digital civic technologies. I collaborate with the Artificial Intelligence Magazine MagIA. I am on the Scientific Committee of CIRSDe (Interdisciplinary Center for Research and Studies of Women and Gender) and of the scientific journal Junco.
I was appointed by the City of Turin to the Board of Directors of SMAT – Società Metropolitana Acqua Torino (Torino Metropolitan Water Company) and an external expert on the “Board on the Ethical Use of Emerging Technologies for Urban Innovation” of CTE NEXT. Vice President of ETS Next-Level.
President of Cultura e Salute APS, founded to work on active aging. Ambassador for Telefono Rosa Piemonte.
Member of the Board of Directors of APS Torino Città per le donne (Torino City for Women) and of the Torino Pride Coordination Committee for the 2022-23 two-year period.
