Thirty years after the Beijing Conference, the 69th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69) represents a crucial moment to take stock of the progress—and the ongoing challenges—toward gender equality.
Discussing concrete rights and commitments is not only necessary, it is urgent. Especially in a time like this, when we are risking a step backward.
In this process, UN Women Italy can make a significant contribution to promoting a culture of equality and mobilizing attention on these issues in our country as well.
