On Friday, November 21st, I had the pleasure of participating in the Italian African Women’s Forum – 5th Edition, a space for dialogue and collaboration between Africa and Italy, hosted at the International Labour Organization Training Centre in Turin.
I am delighted that an experience I initiated with coordinator Marie Jeanne Balagizi has grown stronger over the years.
An event filled with constructive discussion, ideas, visions, and concrete proposals to:
- strengthen the Africa-Italy partnership,
- create new networks between institutions, associations, and businesses,
- promote win-win economic, technological, and social opportunities,
- enhance the fundamental role of women in the development of the two continents.
It was inspiring to meet professionals, activists, entrepreneurs, and institutional representatives from Italy and Africa, who work every day to generate change and build solid, lasting collaborations for a more equitable and sustainable future.
