On Wednesday, May 27, at Turin Future Week, we discussed digital technology, artificial intelligence, and gender equality with “Materia Prima: la rete che genera futuro.”
But above all, we talked about people.
About associations that choose to collaborate instead of proceeding haphazardly. About skills that converge.
In a historical period in which it’s easy to focus on what’s not working, a shared belief emerged from the discussion: we need to continue denouncing inequalities and obstacles, but also to build opportunities, alliances, and concrete visions for the future.
Many of those present emphasized precisely this aspect: the value of discussion capable of generating positive energy, ideas, and possibilities. A message that shouldn’t be taken for granted in complex times like the ones we’re experiencing.
Networks aren’t simply places for relationships. They can become infrastructures for change, capable of transforming individual commitment into collective impact.
This theme is also at the heart of the editorial project I’m working on #staytuned.
Thanks to all the speakers who shared their skills, experiences, and passion: Stefania Noiosi, Chiara Sonzogni, Ester Liquori, Sabrina Scarpati, Vittoria Lizzi, and Maria Carmela Macrì.
And thanks to the organizations that made this dialogue possible:
Donne 4.0, EWMD Torino, FemTech Italy, Torino Città per le Donne, and the Women in AI Italy community.
Participation is important. But it’s when it becomes shared planning that it truly begins to generate the future.
