Attending the Donne 4.0 assembly in Florence on November 25th was, as always, a moment of great energy and inspiration.
It was an opportunity to meet women (and a male member!) with diverse skills, from all regions of Italy and of different ages, united by the same vision: building a more equitable, digital, and inclusive future.
I was particularly struck by the presence of so many young women, open to dialogue between generations—a concrete sign of our association’s vitality and capacity for renewal.
The assembly was an opportunity to take stock of the projects we’ve carried out in recent years and to plan for the future together, with a collaborative effort involving all members and the member, in a climate of listening and collaboration.
As the Analysis and Advocacy Commission, which I coordinate with Loredana Grimaldi, we are working on a major project on the digital gender gap, which we presented on November 13th.
More than its content and expertise, I want to emphasize the collective strength of Donne 4.0: an association that, thanks to the leadership of President Roberta Russo, and before that, Darya Majidi, stands out for its teamwork, genuine sharing, and concrete sisterhood.
A rare commodity, when too often only individual affirmation prevails.
