On Thursday, October 2nd, I had the pleasure of participating as a speaker at the Women In Charge On Tour in Turin, hosted in the splendid setting of Palazzo Saluzzo Paesana.
A national project that brings together moments of discussion and networking on key issues for the future of work and society in various Italian cities:
- gender equality
- enhancing female talent
- economic independence
- work-life balance
It was a rich and stimulating dialogue, born from the exchange of diverse personal and professional experiences united by a common goal: building more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable organizations.
We also reflected on the new European directive on pay transparency, which—if implemented with courage and concreteness—could represent an important step towards reducing the gender pay gap.
Thanks to the other speakers, Polina Bosca, Francesca Casalino, Silvia Donatiello, and Alessandra Bianchi, to moderator Pier Carlo Barberis, with the States General of the World of Work, and to all those who participated with enthusiasm and insight.
This was also a valuable opportunity to highlight UN Women Italy‘s commitment to building alliances and initiatives that accelerate the achievement of gender equality.
