On October 29th in Turin, at CTE NEXT, I attended the session dedicated to Artificial Intelligence, Bias, and Risks, to contribute to the topic of Bias and Gender.
In a world increasingly driven by algorithms and automated decisions, it is crucial to ask ourselves how gender biases influence technology and what we can do, as a community, to build more equitable, transparent, and inclusive systems.
Here is the program for Wednesday, October 29th:
– 2:30–3:00 PM | Introductory remarks
with Chiara Foglietta, Maurizio Bulgarini, Pietro Pacini, Giorgio Golzio, and Sonia Cambursano
– 3:00–4:45 PM | Session 1 – Artificial Intelligence: Combating and Countering Bias and Risks
with Monica Cerutti, Giulia Consonni, Viola Schiaffonati (moderated by Rosa Meo)
– 5:00–6:30 PM | Session 2 – Responsible Use of Technology with Sloweb
with Lucia Confalonieri, Maria Letizia Filippi (Mizzi), Franco Marra, and Debora Colò (moderated by Pietro Jarre).
Thanks to the organizers for creating an opportunity for dialogue, reflection, and discussion on digital ethics, artificial intelligence, and gender inclusion.
